Molchat Doma delivered a hypnotic performance at Sydney's Enmore Theatre.
Frontman Egor Shkutko stood motionless before letting loose with creative dance moves, his baritone voice heavy with dread and romance in equal measure. Sung entirely in Russian, with synth and drum machine from Roman Komogortsev and Pavel Kozlov driving the crowd into a unified, trance-like sway.
Supported by the very talented local Sydney artist Buzz Kull bringing his darkwave sounds.
