The World is a Vampire - Hordern Pavilion

An unforgettable night of music, mischief and utter mayhem.

Well, that was one helluva show. I can honestly say I've seen nothing quite like it.

The World Is a Vampire tour featuring The Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction, and Amyl and The Sniffers at the Hordern Pavilion was an epic night of music and wrestling that left fans in slack-jawed awe and amazement.

The show kicked off with the Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance taking on some of Australia's finest representatives in a ring just off to the right of main stage. I must admit, I had my doubts - but goddamn that was a lot of fun. Bodyslams, back-stabbing barbarians, belly flops and beefcake made for some excellent pre-show entertainment.

Amyl and The Sniffers brought their high-energy punk rock to the stage, delivering a set that had the crowd jumping and moshing along.

Next up was Jane's Addiction, who delivered a captivating performance that showcased their classic hits as well as some newer material. Frontman Perry Farrell commanded the stage, engaging with the audience and leaving everyone wanting more.

Finally, The Smashing Pumpkins took the stage and immediately took the audience on a journey through their vast catalogue of hits. From "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" to "1979" and "Tonight, Tonight," the band delivered a flawless performance that left no doubt as to why they are considered one of the greatest alternative rock bands of all time. The visuals and lighting were stunning, adding an extra layer of atmosphere to an already amazing show.

Overall, the World Is a Vampire tour was a night to remember, featuring incredible bands that delivered top-notch performances. The wrestling added an additional layer of bizarre - but who doesn't need a little bizarre in their life??

Unique doesn't even begin to cover it - it was an unforgettable experience that left fans buzzing long after the show ended.
