Carbie Warbie has been documenting the Melbourne music scene for almost a decade. With over 70,000 worldwide followers on social media, Carbie’s music photography has adorned the front page of The Age newspaper (three times) and has been featured in prestigious publications such as Rolling Stone magazine, Pitchfork, NME, Stereogum, Spin, Rock & Folk (in France), SXSW, triple j’s J-Mag, Blunt, Maximum Rock’n’roll, TimeOut, Heavy, JAM Magazine, FasterLouder, Music Feeds, Tone Deaf, Mess+Noise and 100’s of other publications and websites. I am a fervent supporter of Melbourne’s community radio (Triple R and PBS), sponsor of The Push, official photographer for The Reclink Community Cup, Federation Square, Music Victoria and SLAM (Save Live Australia’s Music) and I have covered music festivals from Bluesfest, Big Day Out, Soundwave, Laneway, Falls Festival, All Tomorrow’s Parties, Queenscliff Music Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Melbourne Festival, Leaps and Bounds and lots more.
