I started photography at a young age mucking around with point and shoot cameras. I was given my first DSLR at age 21 and quickly grew out of its capabilities. I brought myself a D300 about 1 month later. This is the camera I began to shoot live music on at the request of some friends in local bands. It was at one of these gigs that I was approached to shoot for AMNplify (formerly AMN). I quickly upgraded my gear and began shooting much more live music, as well as developing my photography business into real estate and wedding photography. These days I mainly shoot for venues rather than publications but still shoot the odd show for AMNplify when I get the time.
