I was first inspired to pick up a camera from my best mate, Marcus Roberts. I shot on pretty basic gear up until I was being seriously limited and until I could justify spending the money on a pro kit.
Needless to say, I’m so glad I made the inevitable decision to upgrade.
I’ve been shooting live music since 2014. I primarily shoot for The Music and Bear Family – a music blog I now co-run with a friend.
I also photograph weddings, events, tourism campaigns, and commercial work though live music photography and the live music community just gives something that these other genres can’t offer.
