“I found Disturbed to be quite a low energy band to shoot, but flames and lights mixed with the loud strong vocals made for a great show. The particular band member in the shot looked directly at me so I quickly shot off a few photos, this one being my favourite of the sequence.”

Gear: Nikon D800, with a Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G at 16mm.
Post Process: I imported the RAW file into Lightroom, adjusted the exposure and contrast, and lowered the bright lights by bringing the highlights down. I then boosted up some shadows in this image, as well as the clarity a small amount. I also dropped the saturation a little.
I started photography at a young age mucking around with point and shoot cameras. I was given my first DSLR at age 21 and quickly grew out of its capabilities.
