“I was on the road with Thundamentals throughout their Australian tour supporting Macklemore. This image was taken during the Sydney leg of their tour, as a home town show the crowd here were extremely interactive and bursting at the seams with excitement. I was on stage anticipating the chorus of ‘Late Nights’ when the crowd then thew up their phones – it was a beautiful moment and something I won’t forget.”

Post Process: My post production has a mixture of both Adobe Lightroom and Adober Photoshop. I firstly process the image in Lightroom to establish an initial grade – I export the image as a TIFF before importing into Photoshop to further develop my grade. Working with layer masks to enhance levels and curves on certain highlights / low lights before sharpening and exporting again as a final image.
I’ve always had a fascination with photography since a young age. I started out in design which easily allowed me to use existing post prod. techniques in my Photography work. Throughout 2012-13 I was heavily involved with street photography in Sydney, Australia – This lead me to working in all different mediums of photography. WorkingLearn more about Billy Zammit
