Carly Rae Jepsen is finally touring Australia
When Carly Rae announced that her first ever Australian appearance would be at Sand Tunes festival in Queensland, fans across the internet began begging for sideshows. Now, our prayers have been answered, with the Canadian pop icon adding two shows in Sydney and Melbourne to her trip.
Though the early days of her career were defined by the breakout chart-topper “Call Me Maybe,” Jepsen’s recent output has taken a retro turn. Her combination contemporary pop stylings and 80s-insturmental influences lead to two critically acclaimed records, that walked the perfect line between emotionally honest anthems and upbeat party bangers.
Jepsen will perform at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney and the Forum when she heads to Melbourne. Given that thousands of fans have been waiting years for this moment, we hardly expect the tour to be a party for one, so make sure you’re online nice and early, when tickets go on sale at 2pm on Thursday, 26 September.
Tuesday, November 26th – Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Monday, December 2nd – Forum Theatre, Melbourne, VIC
