There’s a new live music initiative happening in Sydney and its name is Brooklyn at Hibernian.
It’s a monthly music series being held at the iconic Hibernian House in Surry Hills near the CBD in association with Young Henry’s and Moshcam.
You’ll see amazing artists as you haven’t before and probably won’t again. These sessions are intimate, invite-only, secret shoots held either in a lounge room or on a rooftop with an eclectic mix of local and international artists, streamed live and then released as professionally shot and recorded, multi-cam clips shortly after the event.
We have an exclusive clip of the most recent rooftop session – with the incredibly talented Irish singer-songwriter, Ryan McMullan. Here is the stunning, raw acoustic rendition of his new single, “Bowie on the Radio.”
Having been blessed with a voice that can shift effortlessly between the angelic and the guttural, he has honed a songwriting craft that exploits the incredible versatility and power of his god given instrument.
Since Ryan’s introduction he has garnered significant heat from industry heavyweights. From playing stadiums supporting Ed Sheeran throughout the UK and Europe, to selling out headline tours, Ryan’s rise has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Stay tuned and keep your ear to the ground to see if you can get yourself invited to the next session as there are some amazing musicians lined up to perform – and these are sure to be very special shows…
…but not everything went to plan that day…
