Born from a song writing project for two musical brothers... Simon & Tony found themselves Soul deep in songs that were so apparent in lives lived, lives learned or lives dreamt. In writing a collection of Rhythmic, Soulful Blues songs... the pair move forward in 2010 with friends on stage to form The Widowbirds.. an alliance in the War against Sadness, mere SOUL-diers with a lot to say about Love.

Breaking things down to simple song, this Country Soul Collective musically rescue you and strip it all back to bare bones, with a live setup that sees 3 Acoustic guitars, 4 voices, Percussion & Gospel Pianos.. left almost naked The Widowbirds produce a mood to stir your souls, and sing your sorrows.
