MY DISCO is a Melbourne based collaboration between Liam Andrews, Rohan Rebeiro and Ben Andrews that formed in Australia in 2003. Their second album ‘Paradise’ was recorded in Chicago, Illinois in late 2007 with Steve Albini at Electrical Audio. The album is noted as the band’s most refined and minimalist release to date, capturing their stentorian live sound in one of the world’s most renowned recording studios. MY DISCO has toured South-east Asia (2005), North America (2005, 2006, 2007), Mexico (2007) United Kingdom (2006), New Zealand (2005, 2007), and Australia (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), and are working on an extensive tour of the world commencing in New Zealand March 2009. The band head out once more this October, on a national tour of their second album “Paradise”, released in March 2008. The tour will be the band’s last shows before touring Japan to promote the release of “Paradise” in a special Japanese format.
