"The Little Lovers are a professional band aimed at achieving professionalism in a nonprofessional profession. All professionalism and proficiencies usually exuded in a rock band never quite find a way to materialise into such a tight ship but the Little Lovers have finally nailed the last nail in the boat and unleashed the flood gate on competency.
Most Little Lovers tours begin in an awkward remembrance of the mistakes made last time and we joke to each other quoting our ongoing band ethos “what could possibly go right” (sung like the Philly Js of course). A few hours into, what should have seemed a simple plan, like drive to the show, usually ends up with all of us cursing our miss fortune and laughing at the ridiculous situations we constantly find ourselves in. Then right on cue “what could possibly go right”. We always stumble through a masquerade of shows and end up having the best time and arrive home wondering the same thing we do every time “We must be the only band in Australia with Greyhound tags on our gear”."
