From Koumala, Queensland, Australia has AMUSA in Classical Violin, and Bachelor of Jazz Voice. She was invited to record an album with Jim Pugh in New York City in 2004 alongside Kenny Werner, Thomas Morgan, Bill Campbell, Nick Mancini - featuring her voice and compositions. Kristin received an OZCO grant to study in New York City 2005 with Ingrid Jenson - improvisation, David Binney- composition & Tom Shilling - voice. She came 3rd in Australia's National Jazz Awards - Wangaratta Jazz Festival 2005 and came 1st in the International Shure Vocal Competition - Montreux Jazz Festival 2006. Kristin teaches at the ANU (Australian National University) Canberra School of Music & teaches at Mackay Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) & also privately RECORDINGS: The Con Artists (big band) - PughMosso & Pianomente albums geman'i - self titled duo album with pianist Gemma Turvey The West End Composers Collective - Downstream Kristin Berardi & Leo Mc Fadden - Up Til Now, also featuring Joel Gregory & John Rodgers Free Your Mind - pop single, featuring Kristin Berardi
