Wow, this is amazing! Hadn't heard this one done by him, certainly not LIVE, and it's so different from the top-40 pop stuff we know him for (Cars). I love this side of Numan MUCH more.

I was there @ the sydney capital theatre gig in may of 1980. 29yrs is a long wait. Still sounding like a megawatt-powerhouse. Gary don'y leave it so long next time.

Hello. the first time i saw numan,was on top of the pops U.K singing Are friends electric ? back then called Tubeway Army 1979. For me his best albums would be Replicas, Pure, The Pleasure Principle, Telekon. And of cause Jagged. A numan fan forever.

I cant believe I missed his concert, there are things in life you must make the effort to do, I asked one of my mates if he would come along to see Gary Numan and he said who, I said Gary Numan he created the best electrified music ever. And now I am regretful not just going by my self, I hope he comes to Oz again soon, he rocks, I play Cars and Friends are Electric in my Car all the time, even my girls who are age 9,12,14 are now hooked on his music and we are in the Central West Nsw Australia..Go Gary hope you come back soon...

Hello. I'm a fan since 1979. I remember the chilling first time I heard Numan's album called "The pleasure principle" like it was yesterday. The first song is a instrumental called "Airlane". Every time I listen to it (almost every day), I think it does not only sounds like electronic music, but also as the hymn of a new era. Even during his darkest years, this artist has always been the absolute N° 1 to me.
I saw Numan on stage several times in the 80's and the last time in 2006. I missed him this year but I'm looking forward the next opportunity, of course. His come back in the years 2000 was a wonderful surprise. Like a good wine, he gets always better, like he sang in '86, "I'm back and I'm strong"...
I hoped that "The fall" would be edited as a single, but haven't seen anything about it.
I'm going to see him this week at Sonisphere. looking forward to it.
I have been a Gary Numan Fan since 1979. This was a great gig! He just keeps getting better.
Just saw him friday night at Casa das Artes (Portugal). Amazing... One of the best concerts I´ve been!

Agreed - I could not find this concert on DVD - Gary also appears with Trent Reznor, you can find it on youtube in HD, also not on DVD but still available thank the gods! Just be ure to have a decent speaker setup for your computer and youre good to go.
