Moshcam Meets Cursive 6:02

@ The Glass House, Pomona, 12 February 2012

There are myriad ways to describe Cursive, but after catching up with the band’s frontman Tim Kasher when they played at The Glass House in Pomona, we have to say predictable certainly isn’t one. After 17 years on the music circuit, seven albums and a couple of hiatuses, the Nebraska indie-rock veterans came back this year with their conceptual offering ‘I Am Gemini’; a musical tale of twin brothers (one good and one evil) who were separated at birth, a chorus of angels and devils and twin sisters conjoined at the head. Pretty surreal by anyone’s standards, but somewhat understandable if the band’s love of Jameson whiskey is as true as Kasher reveals in this great interview.
