    2004 A DEATH IN THE FAMILY formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2004. Self recorded 5 song demo Dec '04 [out of print] 2005 Local and interstate gigs throughout 2005 with bands including Ted Leo (USA), Sommerset (NZ) and The Explosion (USA) April 2005, set out on their first Australian tour supporting legendary UK band Leatherface Late 2005 debut album "This Microscopic War" recorded at The Arthouse and produced by Frankie Stubbs (Leatherface) 2006 This Microscopic War' released early 2006 on Poison City Records (Australia/ NZ) & shortly after on UK label Newest Industry (UK/ Europe/ USA/ Canada/ Japan). National tour supporting Gainesvilles finest - Against Me! (USA) In june 2006 guitarist/ vocalist Sarah Hardiman left the band to concentrate on Motor Vehicle Sundown and was replaced by Jamie Hay (Fear Like Us, Conation) ADITF embark on their first 40 date UK/ Europe tour late 2006, taking them to Finland playing with Manifesto jukebox, UK with Milloy and Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria with Leatherface (UK) 2007 Release of Poison City Records v/a compilation 'Poison The World v2' includes ADITF track "Let's Lose" Numerous local and interstate shows including interstate shows with The Draft (USA) & AGAINST ME! (USA) August ADITF's first tour of New Zealand Recorded 4 songs at The Arthouse by Matt Bodiam. Released as a spilt with Finlands finest sons Manifesto Jukebox. Poison City Records & Combat Rock Industry release 'Split" on 12" vinyl and C.D. Oct USA tour taking in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee & Georgia with shows with The Draft, Gaslight Anthem, Dead To Me, Steady State and a slot on Gainesville, Florida's 'The Fest 6' which also included Small Brown Bike, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Seaweed, Naked Raygun & Youth Brigade. As well as some compilation appearances, ADITF have produced 2 video clips for the songs "Sink We Swim" & "Let's Lose". ADITF are currently writing for their next release.
